THE RULES:

1. Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
2. Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
3. A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
4. So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
5. Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

Nothing, really. [ He places another soft kiss on Cas' neck before pulling back to look at him. ]

We can just stay like this, or something. You were only doing it for the heat, right?

[ but patting the blanket securely around dean's shoulders like a content angel doing his work ] I do not feel cold.

I know. [ But he pulls Cas against him anyway. ] Can't have Jimmy catching something, though.

I have taken his vessel.

[ He shrugs. ] You're warmer than the blanket. That's all. [ That's all. ]

[ his forehead is still bunched from trying to find the right word to finish his sentence, but he lets it go, and accepts dean's message

to try and further prove his warmth, he wraps him even closer with his arm ]

[hetero]

[ Dean feels surprisingly comfortable like this, and he assumes it's because angels have mojo that makes it feel good to be held by them.

But that sounds kind of girly so he shifts so that he can be the one holding Cas because that makes it so much more heterosexual. ]

[deism]

Do you feel warmer, now? [ a measured pace between warmer and now

something like affection and holiness in his breath ]

[hetero]

Kinda. But I mean, you angels have a thing, right? You send off like, good mojo? [ That doesn't even make sense Dean. ]

[deism]

[ blank... look...

unlike all his other blank looks it is hard to tell ] We are not lucky charms.

[hetero]

... C'mon, you gotta give off special vibes or somethin'.

[deism]

My arrival does seem to interfere with certain wavelengths.

[ he seems a little morose at that thought

Right, like in humans. [ There is a questioning edge to that though. ]

[deism]

[ no now he's like a bb bird, tilting his head curiously at dean whilst squinting ]

Do you feel a change, [ and there's that slightly airy pause ] Dean?

[hetero]

[ He's quiet for a moment, like he's trying to read Castiel's movements, but he can't seem to. He doesn't know what to think from that because Cas is Cas. ]

Yeah, I guess. [ He shifts, because he's thinking about how to word it without sounding weird. But he's sure he's right about this--there's nothing else it could be other than angel vibes. ] It feels comfortable. Really... good. [ It's simple, but there's a lot of emotion put into that 'good' like he's expressing exactly how it feels to him. ]

[deism]

Yes. [ it is a simple absolution, and though he doesn't quite smile, his face relaxes into something like peace, serenity, and perhaps even happiness ]

Do you feel good now?

[hetero]

Especially now. That's what I'm talking about. [ He laughs to himself, trying to shrug off what he's about to say. ] I mean, it shouldn't feel so nice havin' a guy against me. It's gotta be your doing, right?

[deism]

You enjoy the company of your brother. [ that head tilt again to accompany simple natural facts. ]

[hetero]

I don't hold Sammy like this. [ But he looks up, trying to think of a way to explain it. ] It's a different feeling. One ain't better or anything, but it's different.

[deism]

[ his brow furrows, just a little bit, and then he touches the side of dean's face ]

I do not understand.

[hetero]

[ He eyes Cas' hand with softness, almost like it's relaxed him, but he doesn't make any other response to it. ]

You think I do? I thought it was an angel thing. But I... it's not like I mind it.

[deism]

It is not an angel thing, Dean.

I believe it is... [ he hesitates, as if finding the right words ] a human thing.

[hetero]

[ He looks back to Cas, frowning with more confusion. ]

Right, because you angels can't feel a damn thing. [ He seems vaguely disappointed. He'd wanted to blame it on the angels, because otherwise emotions were far too complicated. ]

Well, I'm lost, then.

[deism]

I do not altogether understand, but I will tell you what I see. [ he speaks with a rumbly intonation, like giving a quiet but serious sermon ]

I see a man who enjoys the company of others.

[hetero]
